Your own hostname

When you create an account, a hostname is automatically generated for you.

Your newsletters are sent under your name from the Laposta system. When your contacts request data from your newsletter, for example by clicking on a link in your newsletter, they connect to our system. A hostname is used for establishing this connection.

The hostname can be simply seen as the name of a machine that facilitates communication between your local computer and that of your contacts on one side and our system on the other.

Your hostname is a nice piece of 'branding' for your company name and/or website, also for the publication of your newsletters.
