Now also two-step verification via SMS
Laposta has expanded two-step verification with SMS verification, in addition to the existing verification through an authenticator app of your choice. This is available immediately, even if you are using our program for free.
Do you want to secure access to your Laposta account and all the data in it even better? You can now also use verification via SMS for two-factor authentication (2FA).
Verification via SMS is easy to use and you don’t need a separate (authentication) app for this. The only thing you do need is a mobile phone number. The SMS messages sent for verification are received for free.
You can also simply continue to choose an extra verification via the authenticator app of your choice. And if you activate both verification methods in your account, you can use two-factor authentication via SMS and via the authenticator.
You can easily activate two-factor authentication yourself in your account on the Access → Two-factor Authentication page. Indicate which method you want to set up, and you will be guided step by step through the activation and your extra protection will be active immediately.
