The Six-step Plan of Laposta
From start to finish, you create a professional newsletter in Laposta in six steps. You always follow the Six-Step Plan. You start with the basic information of your campaign and end with determining the desired sending time.
Step 1: start with the subject
Of course, you start with the basics: you give your campaign a name, determine which sender address you want to use for this campaign, and which sender name your contacts will see. Do you want your contacts to be directed to a different email address if they directly reply to your newsletter? Then you can enter a different reply address for that.
You can personalize the subject and preview text of your campaign and enhance it with emoticons. Those who pay extra attention to a short and powerful subject for a newsletter can see immediately in the counter how many characters the subject and preview text contain.
Step 2: choose your contacts
Next, you select the contact lists and/or segments that should receive your campaign. If contacts are in multiple lists or segments, Laposta automatically deduplicates these contacts during the sending of your campaign, ensuring that just one copy of your campaign is delivered to each email address.
Step 3: choose a template
In the third step, you choose a template for your campaign. You can choose from ready-made templates, which you can fully customize, or from one of your saved templates. Did you know that you are allowed to save an unlimited number of templates in your account?
Step 4: fill your newsletter
Then it's time to fill your newsletter with all the content you want. In the user-friendly drag & drop editor, you can easily add extra blocks to place titles, texts, images, and buttons. You can quickly and easily place links to your social media, the web version of your newsletter (which you can also have shared by your contacts on their social media), your website, or documents that you want to refer to. With a custom template of the Joe type, you can optionally have your newsletter automatically include messages via an RSS feed.
You can optimize your newsletter for display on a desktop and mobile and preview it. Through the 'Test Mail' button, you can first experience how your campaign will be shown in your email program.
Step 5: double-check
Time for a final check! You can adjust everything you have done and placed in the previous steps before you send your campaign to your contacts. You can also create a PDF version of your campaign and use the link to the web version to publish your campaign.
Step 6: send your newsletter
You can send your campaign immediately or place it in the task planner and determine the exact sending time. You decide to which email address a notification should be sent when your campaign has been sent to all your contacts and see in real-time what percentage of your selected recipients have received your campaign. You can directly view the first results that are being tracked live for you.
